Balt-IT: Business Opportunities for Smart Companies

We kindly invite you to the Swedish-Baltic ICT networking event aiming to develop business links between Baltic and Swedish companies.

Leading experts from Baltic and Swedish ICT clusters/organisations will provide an overview of the market. Two inspiring and practical business cases from Sweden to Baltic’s will be presented by Niklas Sonkin, Executive Vice President Central Europe and Eurasia, Tele 2 and by Mats Engstrand, CIO and Head of Group IT, Swedbank Group IT. The event provides an excellent networking occasion and is also a good opportunity for Swedish companies to meet people from Baltic ICT companies and organisations for discussing business opportunities.

The event is jointly arranged by Estonian Swedish Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise Estonia, Investment and Development Agency of Latvia and Commercial Attaché Office of the Embassy of Lithuania in Stockholm in partnership with 8 partner organisations from Baltic’s and Sweden.

NEW CO-WORKERS

ESCC is pleased to present two new co-workers Heli Lango and Kaia Pensa.

Heli as the ESCC Office Manager is responsible for all administrative tasks, she helps the Board with communication, event organising and in other managerial activities.

Heli was born on the island of Saaremaa and went to University in Tartu, where she studied Estonian Philology. After her studies she worked a couple years as a teacher. Heli also studied architecture at Euroacademy in Tallinn. 2006 she moved to Sweden and started her own company. Today she is running the business in interior design, introducing foreign brands on the Swedish market.

Kaia coordinates the work of the ESCC Programme Committee and helps with developing, planning and execution of the annual programme.

Kaia was born in Tartu and holds a BBA from the Estonian Business School and MSc in International Marketing from the University of Strathclyde, the UK. After her studies Kaia moved to Sweden in 2002. She has over 10 years of experience within FMCG (consumer care and pharmaceuticals) in functions of international sales management-, strategic purchasing, -category management and business controlling. She has taken Nordic and Global brands out to the Eastern European markets. In connection with the Deregulation of the Swedish pharmacy market in 2009 and abolishment of state owned company Apoteket AB’s monopoly, Kaia has helped 2 newly established pharmacy chains to build up purchasing and category organisations.
